Through discussion and acting exercises, Bonnie will go through 20 steps to help find a way to develop dance pieces and the character within those pieces. This class will help those choreographing and developing works put together pieces that will mean more to the artist performing and also to those who are watching them being performed.

Welcome to latin-jazz; the fusion you’ve been waiting for. In this class, we will explore a mixture of old school jazz along with samba rhythms and movements. This beg/intermediate combination will focus on varied timing, beats, and moving your body in unpredictable ways in order to accomplish quick and precise rhythms while tracing back to traditional jazz training.

If you’ve ever had to dance around any of these questions(and so many more) this workshop is for you. We will pull out our tricks-of-the-trade together and confirm we are not alone. Geo presents fantastic curriculum specific for 3 & 4 year olds. Warm-up, games, progressions (yes progressions for 3 yr olds!) and combo.
Music editing has become a standard within the competition circuit. Specifically, for my competitive hip-hop pieces, it is a necessity to combine a multitude of songs in order to have a complete and successful piece. This course will show you how to begin the process of splicing music and combining a single (or two or more songs) together. A computer is recommended, but not required. (I will mostly use the application Ableton, but the same techniques apply to any software.)

This combination is based on commercial dance but has elements of technique and grooves. We will be working on a style that a lot of pop singers incorporate into their shows and focus on what makes it unique.
