Dance Teacher Web Conference and Expo: The Ultimate Studio Investment

As the founder of Dance Teacher Web, and with over 38 years in the dance industry as a studio owner, I have been where you are. I know that the dance season is a marathon. By the time the final curtain falls on your recital, you and your faculty are often running on empty, ready for a break.

But before you mentally check out for the summer, I want you to consider one thing: the most successful studios are the ones that never stop learning.

The landscape of dance education is constantly evolving. From new training methodologies and music trends to the ever-shifting world of studio marketing and business software, staying current isn't just an advantage—it's a requirement.

This is exactly why we created the Dance Teacher Web Conference & Expo in Las Vegas. This isn’t just another dance event; it is a meticulously designed incubator for your studio’s growth. And while many events focus solely on the dancer, we focus 100% on you, the educator, and the entrepreneur.

To make this the ultimate team-building experience, we are offering an incredible incentive for studio owners: when you register 4 of your team members, you get a 5th registration completely FREE! Have a larger staff? Bring 10 team members and you only pay for 8. Here is why attending this event is a game-changer for both dance teachers and dance studio owners. Click here to get started!

For the Dance Teacher: Reignite Your Passion and Sharpen Your Craft

As a teacher, your job is to give. You pour your energy, your creativity, and your soul into your students week after week. It is incredibly fulfilling, but let’s be honest: it can also be exhausting. It is easy for your lessons to become repetitive and for your creativity to feel tapped out.

This conference is your opportunity to replenish that well. When you step into our classes and seminars, you aren’t just a spectator; you are the focus.

Discover Fresh Pedagogy and Choreography: Learn directly from an incredible lineup of master teachers who are leaders in their styles. You will discover new ways to break down complex skills, creative combination building, and innovative choreography that will inspire your next season’s competition and recital pieces.

Learn Safe and Effective Training Techniques: As dance science progresses, so must our teaching methods. Our sessions prioritize injury prevention, correct anatomical alignment, and healthy training practices, ensuring you can guide your students toward longevity in their dance journey.

Find Your Tribe: Teaching can sometimes feel isolating, especially if you’re a freelance instructor or the only teacher of your style at a studio. This event is your chance to connect with a passionate, like-minded community. Share struggles, swap successes, and build a supportive network of colleagues from around the world.

For the Dance Studio Owner: The Blueprint for a Thriving Business

For you, the business owner, the reality of the dance world is that artistic excellence is only half of the equation. Running a successful studio means mastering marketing, accounting, human resources, enrollment, and faculty management. The business skills required are vast, and they often aren't taught in a dance class.

Our Conference isn’t just about making better dancers; it’s about making a better, more profitable business.

Transform Your Business and Marketing Strategy: Our dedicated business and marketing tracks are led by some of the sharpest minds in the studio industry. You will walk away with actionable strategies to increase enrollment, streamline your operations, leverage social media, and build a studio brand that stands out.

Solve Your Faculty Alignment and Training Issues: (Remember our blog post on standardizing terminology?) This event is the perfect, ready-made training program for your staff. Bring your team, and you are ensuring that every teacher returns with the same updated knowledge, techniques, and enthusiasm, getting your whole faculty on the exact same page. This is the ROI on standardizing your team!

Explore the Expo Hall—Your Studio’s One-Stop Shop: Our Expo Hall is packed with the industry’s top vendors. Compare costumes, demo studio management software, discover new prop and flooring companies, and find the resources you need to run your business flawlessly—all under one roof.

Why You Should Bring Your Team The absolute best way to maximize the value of this event is to bring your whole faculty. It changes the dynamic from a solo learning trip to a shared team-building and professional development experience.

Imagine a season where:

Your ballet teachers all use the same updated vocabulary.

Your preschool teachers have a new, engaging syllabus that is standardized for your studio.

Your contemporary department is buzzing with fresh choreography.

And you, the owner, have a clear, data-driven marketing plan for enrollment.

This is what happens when you invest in your team. When you empower your teachers to learn, you are empowering your studio to grow. Let's do this!
