Questions Teachers Ask

Where does my planner live?

In this browser, on this computer. Nothing is sent anywhere. Use Save My Planner to keep a copy you can move to another device or email to yourself — it is a small file holding your classes, plans, skills and pieces.

How long should a class be?

The bar turns red the moment your blocks add up past the class length. Most teachers over-plan by ten minutes every week — this is the thing that stops it.

What is the block library?

Ready-made class sections for your style — warm-ups, across the floor, centre work, combinations, cool-downs — with the teaching focus already written. Click one to drop it into the plan, then edit it however you like.

Do I have to fill everything in?

No. A class name and a lesson plan is plenty to start. Skills and choreography are there when you want them.

Can someone else teach from this?

That is what the Substitute Teacher Plan is for. It prints the roster, the week's focus, every block with its timing, and your notes — enough for a sub to run the class properly.

How does it work with the other tools?
