Click a dancer to rename, color, or send them offstage. Shift-drag to box-select a group. Double-click empty floor to bring the next offstage dancer on right there. Del sends selected dancers offstage.
Then drag any dancer on the stage to fine-tune. Red warning means two dancers are too close.
Click a prop on stage for its controls β rotate, duplicate, lock, π delete. Props stay put from formation to formation until you remove them. Solid props (chairs, tables, poles) trigger a collision warning if a dancer is on top of them. Standable props (risers, stairs, platforms) show the dancer's elevation instead.
When your routine is built, print the whole number as a comic strip β one panel per formation, in order, with counts and notes. Or print one page per dancer: they are drawn in gold in every panel with their exact spot in feet, so each dancer knows exactly where to be. Pin it on the studio wall or send it home.

Drop risers, stairs and set pieces before you build a single formation. Props stay on stage from one formation to the next until you π them, so your staging sheet always matches the real floor β and you can add or strike a piece at any point in the routine.
Your cast is the whole company; each formation places any subset of them. Open with a soloist, build to all 8, finish with 3 β dancer numbers and names stay the same the whole routine, and the staging sheet lists who is offstage.
Press Play on any two consecutive formations. Red flashes mean two dancers' paths cross within 3 ft β fix it before rehearsal, not during.
Print the routine as a comic strip for the wall, or one page per dancer with that dancer in gold in every panel and their spot in feet. Click any dancer on stage for a one-click version of theirs.
Every spike coordinate is measured from center line and from the downstage edge, so the crew can tape a real floor from the sheet with no math.
Ten dancers upstage left can be balanced by one soloist downstage right. Use the Coverage metric β under 30% reads empty, over 70% reads crowded.
If the min-spacing metric drops under 3 ft, the shape won't read from the back of the house. Tighten only when you want the picture to feel like one body.
