Self-help and Life Enhancement Tips for the Business Owner

Dance Studio Owners have a tough job because not only do we have to motivate ourselves but we also have to motivate our staff, faculty, students and even parents to help everyone stay on the same page and to ultimately make our lives run smoother! It does take extra effort but definitely will pay off if you can find ways to keep everyone happy. Most 'regular' people think that dance studio owners spend their days thinking creative thoughts and perhaps teaching a few classes, they have no conception of what it takes to do those things, run a business, keep everyone happy, juggle all the issues that come up on a daily basis and come out of the whole thing perfectly groomed and without a feather out of place!! We truly are an exceptional breed and sometimes we do have to give ourselves credit for surviving and moving ahead.

One thing is for sure; daily motivational reminders do help because even if it is subliminal, the brain will process those reminders and buoy us up to stay positive. I recommend all Dance Teachers and Dance Studio Owners try these out and take note of the results.

Here are some motivational sayings that you can put up in your dance studios, office, faculty room or lobby to keep everyone in a positive state of mind.

'If you think you can, you can'

'Make an effort, not an excuse'

'If you can imagine it, you can achieve it'

'If you can dream it, you can become it'

'If you lead, they will follow'

'The surest way not to fail is to be determined to succeed'

'It is nice to be important but it is more important to be nice'

Here are some dance teacher quotes:

'Dance is fun! It lifts the spirit, strengthens the body and stimulates the mind'

'Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the heart is another'

'It takes an athlete to dance, but an artist to be a dancer'

'Dancing is moving o the music without stepping on anyone’s toes, pretty  much the same as in life'

'To watch us dance is to hear our hearts speak'

'To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful'

These are just a few usable quotes and you may come up with some of your own. Putting this type of motivational and inspirational words around your dance studio will help to maintain a good positive feeling. Hang posters on the walls and change them every month so that everyone has an interest to see what is new.

Inspiration is something that keeps us all going and helps us to minimize the bad or uncomfortable things in life and maximize the good and positive things. Helping everyone at your dance studio to focus on the positive will be beneficial to you the dance studio owner!
