Well..... What can I say except WOW!  What an incredible few days it’s been here at our Dance Teacher Web Live Conference & Expo! So much to recap, but I must start with how electric the energy has been here at the conference! Everyone from the faculty to the attendees to our wonderful staff have been buzzing with enthusiasm, positivity and readiness! It's really been so exciting and inspiring to come in and teach and share with everyone.... and it keeps getting better year after year!

The conference started off in typical glamorous DTW style with our welcome reception at the beautiful Red Rock Resort. Attendees were greeted by our amazingly warm hosts and directors Steve and Angela Sirico and danced the night away catching up with fellow teachers they’ve met at past conferences, meeting new friends and networking! Attendees had the added treat of being serenaded by the incomparable Simone DePaolo as well! She brought down the house and got everyone even more excited to get this year’s festivities started! J

The first morning of classes kicked off with a wonderful breakfast in the Expo sponsored by Capezio followed by a motivational welcome assembly led by our fearless and motivational leaders Angela D'Valda Sirico and Steve Sirico. Classes throughout the course of the day were packed and filled with tips and tools of the trade plus endless material that will be sure to ignite creativity well through next year's conference! From Richard Hind's "Guys in Musical Theatre" class to Judy Ann Bassing's "Tap Combos for all Levels" to Angela D'Valda Sirico's "Beginner Pointe Class" and Wayne Sleep's "Character Repertoire for Young Dancers," the day was a variety of offerings! Not to mention our Dance Teacher University Courses and Business Lab courses including Robert Landau's "How to Hire, When to Fire" class and Paola Seminario's "Social Media for Business" session....just to name a few! Plus, the day doesn't end there as attendees got to take advantage of our VIP reception and Cirque Du Soleil show discounts in town!

Day 3 started off with another fantastic event for attendees like no other! What an incredible morning as we began the day with The Poolside Fashion Show and Breakfast sponsored by Costume Gallery! Attendees were lucky enough to catch not only a gorgeous and sunny Vegas morning but also a preview of all the amazing new costumes in store for the 2013-2014 season and were given special offers for being at the conference! During breakfast, a stellar performance by the talented musicians and dancers of Ole Ole Flamenco really got the got the energy in high gear with some incredible dancing and virtuoso musicians!

Attendees were then ready to start their day with yet another jam packed day of classes and business seminars! We saw teachers dancing up a storm in Liz Imperio's "Latin Funk Class" and the beautiful artistry of Alisa Finney's "Ballet Technique" class. Angela D'Valda Sirico led the way in the Business Lab with her "Clear the Clutter" session while Jack Rayner gave a wonderful session on "Music Editing for Teachers!

Following the lunch break and Expo, afternoon sessions were full with "The Art of Partnering" co-taught by Angela and Steve, "Improvisation for Adolescents" with me, Jessica Rizzo and Hip Hop Choreography with Dustin Phillips to name a few! There were so many more classes and info sessions going on, attendees definitely had infinite options to choose from!

Later on that evening, our well-deserving attendees were able to take advantage of “Capezio Shopping Night” for major discounts and special sales! While we know everyone was feeling that "wonderful exhaustion" of dancing, moving and learning we all live for, we hope you all got plenty of rest and relaxation too on your “working vacation!”

Our final day of the conference began with incredible morning sessions like “Tap in Musical Theatre” with Wayne Sleep  and “Smooth and Funky Jazz Styles” with D’Valda & Sirico! Following the morning’s classes, we proceeded to our End Note Lunch and Expo Finale!  And of course, last but not least, DTW was proud and thrilled to end the conference with a finale like no other and were so happy to welcome the highly anticipated master-class with Tabitha and Napolean and our customary DTW Last Dance Jam! Attendees were up on their feet and having a blast learning the incredible choreography from these two powerhouses in the industry; showing us they had tons more energy left….and jam….they did!
